Britney and Christina in ‘Virgin’ territory

If you can’t be in front of a TV for tonight’s MTV Video Music Awards, here’s a sneak peek – courtesy of our crystal ball.
According to our rat in rehearsals, Britney Spears will appear in a white wedding dress on top of a giant wedding cake while singing “Like a Virgin,” in tribute to Madonna’s number at the 1984 VMAs.
Then Christina Aguilera will take the stage, dressed identically, and do the same routine. (Hey, it’s news to us if either of those two is a virgin)
The climax comes when Gap-girls Madonna and Missy Elliott come out and sing Madonna’s latest hit, “Hollywood.”

Jennifer Lopez‘s rep confirmed yesterday that the Latina lovely had also been slated to appear in the Madonna-fest. But she had to back out because of filming commitments in Canada.
