Britney & Madonna Get ‘In The Zone’
Pop’s reigning queen Madonna and heir apparent Britney Spears get “in the zone” in their “Me Against the Music” video. The track is the first single off of Britney’s new album. Access Hollywood went behind the scenes of the shoot.
“When you see the two different styles together, it’s really interesting. It’s like putting her light on the song, which is kind of cool,” said Britney.
Although there’s no repeat kiss in the video, a white-suited Madonna does bump, grind, and even give a little lap dance to a few lucky guys. The normally racy Britney, clad in black, seemed tame in comparison to Madge.
The collaboration was born out of their performance together at this year’s MTV Video Music awards.
“I was in the middle of rehearsals for the VMAs and I played the song and she [Madonna] was like, ‘That’s your first single, right?’ I was like, ‘Yeah, hopefully.’ And she’s like, ‘I really like it.’ I was like, ‘Really? Well, wanna do it with me?’” revealed Britney.
