Desperately Seeking DVD

Madonna’s big debut film, Desperately Seeking Susan, directed in 1985 by Susan Seidelman, will be finally released in Italy on DVD, by Cecchi Gori Home Entertainment this coming August.

This classic Madonna Movie, already out on dvd in many countries, was missing an Italian release on that format. The Italian edition will feature the same bonus material that is available internationally, including the extended ending, which is often mistakenly referred to as the alternate ending.

This ending is extended and not alternate, because it doesn’t modify the way the movie ends, but simply gives us a glimpse of what happens after Susan and Roberta appear on the cover of the newspaper.
