Today’s M-morabilia corner shows that Madonna’s image has been used to endorse products since the very start of her career.
The following is an ad appeared in Us newpapers and Magazines in 1985, promoting the replica of the boots that Madonna wore in the movie as Susan. The “BOOT” designed by Alison Lances for Orion Pictures was exclusively licensed to Bakers/Leeds, the people that put the ad, and sold the replica at $49.99 a pair.
