Gwineth married in California

It’s official. After a week of rumours it has been confirmed that Coldplay’s Chris Martin and actress Gwyneth Paltrow married last Friday (December 5) in Southern California.

The couple had announced they were going to have a baby just a week earlier. That led to speculation of a big wedding being planned in London with guests including Madonna.

Now, the secret is out and it is over. The wedding took place at a ranch in San Ysidro.

San Ysidro is a small town south of San Diego and borders Mexico. It is the American gateway to Tijuana.

The venue is a haven for lovers. Sir Laurence Olivier and Vivien Leigh married there and Jackie and John F. Kennedy spent their honeymoon there also.

Martin and Paltrow (or should we say the Martins) are honeymooning in the area.
