Love Profusion Vox Remix Premiere in Chicago
Saturday night October 4, 2003 at about 1:30am Ralphi Rosario played his “Vox Remix” of “Love Profusion“, at “Hydrate Nightclub” in Chicago.
It is an amazing and hard hitting remix. The intro is very dark and energetic with the only clue of what the song is being a really cool chilling whispered vocal by Madonna whispering the words “under my skin” before going into probably one of the best vocal remixes of Madonna in recent times!
He did such an amazing job with them. He really brought her voice out and put alot of emphasis on making Madonna sound great. Then in the middle it has another great build where Maddy keeps repeating “and the love…and the love..and the love” then again after the chorus that chilling “under my skin” part.
Then again at about 4:30 in the morning Ralphi played his “Dub Mix” of the song, a bit harder than the vocal, the dub has this great break acappella part, where Maddy sings the chorus.
The night ended with the the host, who was the queen from the TV show “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” saying Good Night to everyone and Thanking Ralphi Rosario for a Great Night!! The crowd was very excited when the song was played, cheering and dancing nonstop! At the end of the night everyone praised Ralphi for such a great job on these remixes!!!
After hearing them, I can not see how Warner would not release them!! They instantly became my favorite remixes in recent times. Although I have always been a fan of Peter & Victor, Ralphi instantly won me over after hearing his remixes of this song! Vocal fans are going to fall in love with the Vocal Remix!! My favorite thing about these remixes is what Ralphi did with those whispered vocals!!!
