Madonna Reads to Kids at Montclair School

The Material Girl is now the reading material girl.

Madonna read her latest book, “Mister Peabody’s Apples,” at the Kimberley Academy in Montclair today. It’s Madonna’s second of five children’s books.

The performer said she was nervous because it was the first time she ever read before students. She said it’s easier to sing for a stadium full of people.

Madonna was dressed like a fashionable teacher in long-sleeve blouse, silk skirt hemmed below the knee, and Prada boots.

Middle school Principal Randy Kleinman says only one parent expressed concern about Madonna. But he says the parent was satisfied after he described nature of the book’s message.
