Nice Hollywood Video review
Here’s a nice review of the Hollywood video from the Italian music magazine Freequency:
The retrospective dedicated to Guy Bourdin at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London must have caused Madonna a kind of Stendhal Syndrome. The plastic and visionary aestheticism of violence and the obscure fiction that animates the pictures of the French photographer (well-known for his thirty year collaboration with Vogue France), revive magically in the video for “Hollywood“, directed by her trusted Jean-Baptiste Mondino. And Mrs.Ciccone amuses herself incarnating the dramatic and pale models with rosie cheeks and glossy lips disguising them as divas denouncing the vices of the star system. Botox injection included.
