Pop Idol Wants Big Stars

Michelle McManus is going to be a big star … the big girl with the bigger voice. But even the vivacious Pop Idol finalist is a little surprised to have become a sex symbol.

But it’s happening – and Michelle is coming to terms with some serious adoration.

She also dreams of doing a duet with raunchy pop star Christina Aguilera – but don’t expect to see Michelle in leather chaps.

“Nooo!” she squeals at the suggestion. “I don’t think that would be a good image for me. I think she got away with it but you won’t be seeing me in leather chaps.”

Michelle would also love to collaborate with Madonna.

“I idolise her,” she says. “I didn’t see the kiss with Brittany on MTV but it’s Madonna, so you wouldn’t expect anything less from her.”
