Reminder of Rome Exhibit
Here’s a reminder of the excellent exhibit called NEW YORK – THE GOLDEN YEARS features forty black and white photos by Ron Galella, Annie Leibowitz, Gerry Malanga, Jean Pigozzi, Roxanne Lowitt, Jimmy De Sana, Wolfgang Wesener that show the artistic, social and nightly life of ’80s New York.
The Exhibit has been opened in Rome on October 8 in via Margutta 54, by the cultural organization Valentina Moncada and includes various celebrities, spotted in Manhattan’s most trendy clubs such as Studio 54, Limelight, Palladium, Tunnel and Paradise Garage.
Among them, Bianca Jagger, Norman Mailer, Keith Harig, Miles Davis, Jean Michel Basquiat, Roy Lichtenstein, Grace Jones, Robert Mapplethorpe, Leonard Bernstein and Salvator Dalì.
Madonna Ciccone is also included, in a rare picture by photographer Wolfgang Wesener that MadonnaTribe is able to show you below.
