Roses Top New York Times’ children’s books list
This week, Madonna‘s first children’s book, The English Roses, tops the New York Times‘ children’s picture books list, selling 57,369 copies its first week in stores.
The 48-page book deals with friendships between five schoolgirls based in London. Madonna says “the lesson is about how destructive feelings of envy and jealousy are.”
The next book out of five from Madonna is called Mr. Peabody’s Apples, and it will be released worldwide on November 10.
MadonnaTribe exclusively premiered some artworks from “Peabody” , and revealed that the book will carry illustrations by Loren Long.
