Thalia’s American Life

While Madonna‘s fans are eagerly anticipating her new video Hollywood, fans of Thalia, the girl that has been many times referred to as the Latin Madonna are waiting for her first english speaking album to be released this coming July.

The album, simply called “Thalia” (which is also the name of one of the muses in greek mythology), contains ten songs in English and 5 bonus tracks in Spanish and it marks the long awaited crossover of this hugely popular Mexican artist, which is also the wife of Sony Music‘s former president Tommy Mottola.

Tommy, which is a long time Madonna friend, recently introduced his wife to the Queen of pop.

Thalia‘s first single off her new album is called “I want you” and it’s a soul/rap ballad a la Lopez style, featuring rapper Fat Joe.
