A Madonna Christmas window in the Big Apple

In department store windows around town, New York is getting an unusual number of light sources to make these Christmas holidays especially radiant.

Fashion store Barneys has gone for shiny objects, too, as the store’s resident design elf, Simon Doonan, has arranged the windows like a series of headline grabbers.

Among them, “Divas and Deities” includes Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor, Cher and, of course Madonna.

Other windows themes are “Hunks and Blokes” with Will Smith, Arnold Schwarzenegger, P. Diddy annd the likes, “Vamps, Camps and Scamps” means Elton John, Lucille Ball, Halle Berry and Bette Midler and “Movers and Shakers” features Bill Clinton, Larry King, Oprah and George W. Bush.
