A Special Live Broadcast from Madonna for Spirituality for Kids
The Kabbalah Centre, the international organization devoted to teaching the wisdom of Kabbalah, is sponsoring an opening ceremony for Spirituality for Kids, featuring a live broadcast from Madonna this Thursday, January 8, in Telaviv, Israel.
The event celebrates the beginning of a new initiative designed to provide children with practice tools to experience life as a great adventure of opportunities and challenges, without the obstacles.
The program will be attended by parents and children, political leaders, educators, members of diplomatic corps, business representatives and artists, including Madonna, via satellite from Europe.
Madonna, whose recently published book for children, Mr. Peabody’s Apples, has been an active member of the Kabbalah community.
Madonna’s book, inspired by a nearly 300-year-old story that was told to her by her Kabbalah teacher, teaches the importance of choosing words carefully to avoid causing harm to others.
Karen Berg, Founder of the worldwide organization, Spirituality for Kids, and Chief Director of the Kabbalah Centre feels that spirituality should be introduced at a young age because, “each child has the innate right to develop and evolve into a happy human being. He/she should be free, strong and able to independently control his/her own destiny; to fulfill his/her inner potential and live a rich life governed by tolerance and human dignity.”
