A tale from Lourdes
Pop queen Madonna’s daughter has written a story for a fund-raising Christmas book. Lourdes Leon‘s story will feature in the new Christmas Stories book being launched by Selfridges on November 9, This is London reports.
The book, illustrated by Klaus Haapaniemi, is in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust, a charity that focuses on the needs of young adults with cancer. leukaemia, Hodgkin’s and related diseases by providing specialist teenage units in hospitals.
Lourdes is following in her mother’s foosteps, with Madonna having sold more than 500,000 copies worldwide of her first children’s book, The English Roses, a tale Lourdes herself was very involved in the creation. Fourteen other celebrities have also contributed stories.
