MadonnaTribe correspondent from Canada, trontoboy is back from his second show at the Air Canada Centre. Something he will never forget!

“This was officially the best night of my life. I kid you not. Firstly, the crowd was UNBELIEVABLE!!!. I have *never* seen a crowd go so buck wild for a show – it even took Madonna back – she was smiling ALL NIGHT LONG!!

She shouted “YOU ARE THE BEST CROWD YET! – NO SHIT!“. Naturally this was followed with thunderous applause.

Notable moments:

– She fell HARD during “Holiday” on the catwalk, but got up and laughed it off.

– After “Papa Don’t Preach“, she lied down, and said “I’m SOO tired“….drank some water, and told a story: “You know, I didnt sleep very well last night, and I wasnt sure I could make it through this show…but your guys energy has been amazing! You inspire me!“…..and the best part: “one more thing… (giggles like a school girl at this point) “you know…you dont have to call me Esther!” she breaks up laughing!!

– Right before “Imagine” she said “this song was written 35 years ago, but not by me, because I wasn’t born yet“…. HUGE APPLAUSE AND CHEERS!

Now the reason it was the best night of my life was because I was 2nd row Left Floor, with two of my friends. We made t-shirts that said “MADONNA, LONG MAY SHE REIGN“, and wore them together. When Madonna came over for “Nobody Knows Me“, she immediately spotted us going WILD.

FROM THEN ON SHE DID NOT FORGET US!!!!

Everytime she came over she paid us SOOO me *SO* much attention, I kid you not!!!! Poiting at me, perma-smiling at me, and complete eye contact with me for a good FULL MINUTE of “Nothing Fails” and “Crazy For You“! She loved me and my friends…

Even the guys in the front row turned around and said “you lucky guy – she f*cking LOVES you!”

I could have died.

This was the best show I’ve been to on the RIT (this was my 4th), and we were surrounded by people from NYC, SAN FRAN, CHICAGO etc. – they all concurred: Toronto delivered Madonna the crowd she was waiting for her, and this show deserved.

ALL HAIL THE QUEEN – LONG MAY SHE REIGN”
