Another fan review – Deana
More Tribers‘ reviews are coming in today. Here’s another one from Deana.
“I’m a longtime fan of Madonna and I thought her Re-Invention concert
was excellent! I’m writing this because I saw the unfavorable review
another fan wrote, and DO NOT agree!
Let me start off by saying that Madonna is in great shape and shows it throughout this entire concert. She is no joke, and she should be an
insparation for all.
She opens standing on her head, and dances throughout the entire
show. Her physically ability alone will impress you. I mean she 45 years old, and she can really move!
But that’s just the half of it.
She sang a greatly selected, variety of songs,’Burning Up”,”Crazy for You”,”Material Girl’,”Music“, and”American Life” are just some, to name a few.She seemed to be singing live, and never gasped for breath, not once! (If she wasn’t singing live, you couldn’t tell, and that’s
good) I can’t stress how much energy she has! I got tired of clapping my hands over my head, but forced myself to do it because I felt lazy
compared to Madonna. The stage screens were really impressive the entire show, even when Madonna left briefly to do a costume change you were distracted by the stage screens and dancers, that you didn’t even notice.
As for Kabbalah, she did not push her new religion, but did celebrate it, by wearing her T-shirt and using some of the symbols on one of her screens. Not at all offensive, and not really noticeable.
(This is a new Madonna, she doesn’t want her fans to immulate her ,and she doesn’t want them to use the Kabbalah, that she reguards rather seriously,as the next passing trend.)
Madonna shared her thoughts about Michael Moore‘s new movie,
“Farenheit 9/11″,and said she cried her eyes out,and encouraged everyone to see this movie,”And together we can make a difference”.
She thanked the crowd for standing by her throughout her 20yr
career, “Through the good and bad”,and dedicated a song to all her fans(I won’t tell you which one,I don’t want to spoil it.)She seemed to interact with the crowd a lot more than before.Someone yelled,”We love you,and she spoke out saying”I love you guys too”and went on to say NYC was just how she knew it would be.She actually slapped the hands of the crowd, she gave away pit passes to radio winners to be beside her on stage. So close! Something I’ve never seen before.
Her tickets are pricey, but WORTH IT ! She doesn’t tour every year, she’s only doing a select number of cities, and she puts on a great show! Everyone is entitled to their opinion. So go see the show and decide for yourself.I’ll be there again on Monday!
God bless,Madonna!
