Our member Jupiterdude wants to share his Madonna concert experience from last night:

“Hi there
Wanted to send you a quick review of the show last night in DC

It was my first night for Reinvention. I am going to the Philly shows but a strange twist of fate landed 2 tix to 6/13 in my lap. Needless to say, the moment the lights dimmed and The Beast Within music started, my knees went soft and my throat went dry. After being bombarded with the incredible sounds and visuals of the intro Madonna rose up in all her glory!
The show was, without a doubt one of the absolute highlights of her entire career! I have been seeing Madonna live since 1993 and I have never heard her sing live like she did last night. Girl must be taking mad voice lessons at home or something because her voice was powerful and absolutely gorgeous. She looked like a million bucks and it was just too incredible for words.
Like a Prayer and Mother and Father were nothing like I anticipated and were a real treat, as was the new treatment of Deeper and Deeper.
The video projections for The Beast Within and Bedtime Story took my breath away. I’d be writing for hours if I described it all, all I can say is, it was worth the wait, worth the money, and worth the drive! Us Madonna fans are oh so lucky! See everybody in Philly – peace out!!!
