Madonna has told how motherhood is leaving her exhausted and drained of creative energy.
The 46-year-old said she is feeling the strain of bringing up two children, being a wife to Guy Ritchie and managing her career.
But she insisted she still wants another baby with her director husband. Madonna said: “I need to calm myself.
“I don’t have a manager anymore, so now I’m my own everything.
“Then I’m the person who stands at the door when my husband comes home from work, waiting to rub his feet.
“And I’m the person who helps my kids with their homework and puts them to bed. I’m exhausted.
“That’s my problem now. I no longer have time to be creative.”
Asked if she was trying to get pregnant again with 36-year-old Ritchie, Madonna said: “I’m going to have fun with my husband and see what happens.” The couple already have a son, Rocco, three.
Madonna also has an eight-year-old daughter Lourdes by former lover Carlos Leon.
In July the star was spotted at a Los Angeles fertility clinic.
She revealed her motherhood problems in an interview with US magazine People – three months after finishing her Re-Invention Tour. She has also just published her fourth children’s book, The Adventures of Abdi.
Madonna revealed she found it “very emotional” to be inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame this month. She said: “It’s taken me a long time to feel comfortable in England, like it’s my home and I’m welcome here, so it meant a lot to me.”
And she told of her surprise at close friend Elton John‘s recent tirade over her miming at concerts – but brushed off the rant.
Madonna said: “He was obviously having a bad day.”
