The Licence has been Granted…. now for the first time ever, Irish fans will get their chance to see the Material Girl this summer as part of Madonna’s re-Invention World Tour 2004. The tour which is sweeping across major markets in the US before continuing to Europe is confirmed to play Slane Castle on Sunday 29-August 2004.

When tickets went on sale nearly € 5m worth of tickets were snapped up breaking all box office gross receipts and single day sales for any event this year.

Madonna‘s devoted Irish fans will have a chance to see not only the Queen of Pop live in concert playing all of her greatest hits, but will also get the chance to see special guests The Darkness, Iggy & The Stooges, Paul Oakenfold and more yet to be announced.
