Our reader Juan had a very special time at the re-Invention show in Altanta and here are his memories.

“I attended to the second night, as you guys read it she did say “you guys are much better than last night’s crowd.” I got there with my boyfriend around 7:30pm and we were shocked to see how many seats were empty, we had floor seats about 30 rows back maybe on the left hand side, the lights went off around 8:30pm but I think it was because they were trying to get all the people inside the arena because as soon as the show started there were no empty seats.
The show started at 8:50pm and it was awesome, I don’t think there’s nothing that hasn’t been said before. It was flawless, people had a lot of energy, everybody was dancing and singing along, I think the first song that had everybody singing along and dancing like crazy was “Express Yourself” that’s when she said “Atlanta are you ready?” everybody went crazy, then before Like a Prayer she said “Atlanta let’s get this party started.” She also asked us to help her sing “Material Girl” because it’s a very old song and she forgets the lyrics often.
She wore the Kabbalists do it better T shirt while singing “Crazy for you” and she dedicated it to all her fans who have stuck with her through “thick thicker and thin” She was very playful with the crowd, smiling and she seemed to be having a great time.

My personal favorite songs of the show were Express yourself, Material Girl, Like a Prayer, Music and Holiday. The confetti was all over the floor of the arena and it was over. She looked beautiful and threw a great show, first time I see her in concert hopefully it won’t be the last time, best show ever!
