Billboard Boxscore on the European Tour Grosses
Billboard.com has published another bunch of Top concert grosses that include the latest dates of the European leg of Madonna’s Re-Invention Tour.
It seems that the only show of the entire tour that was not sold out is Slane Castle. The final figures for the first Madonna show in Ireland on August 29, 2004 report an overall 62,275 tickets sold on a total of 70,000 available. The show grossed some $6,575,339.
Complete sellouts are reported for the four shows in Paris Bercy (68,000 tickets – $7,357,529), the two Dutch gigs at the Gerledome in Arnhem (73,300 tickets – $6,759,661) and for Madonna’s first visit ever in Portugal with two shows at the Atlantic Pavilion in Lisbon (33,460 tickets – $3,286,166).
