MadonnaTribe community member Ryan wants to make a couple of considerations on the Re-Invention Tour he just saw in Chicago.

“I saw Madonna perform in Chicago on July 11 and 12. Needless to say, it was
a defining moment in my life. I’m so bummed that it’s over. I wanted to add
two things to the forum here.

I’ve read a few people’s interpretations of the altered lyrics to Mother and
Father that she sang on July 12. To my knowledge, no one has written what
she really said, which was “My father had to go to work / I didn’t know how
much it hurt.”

Also, the night of the 12th, there were notices posted around the United
Center, telling everyone that by attending the concert, they were consenting
to be filmed.

I forget the name of the production company, but the notice
implied that they would be filming the concert for some reason. Could this
possibly have been live footage for the documentary?”
