Cristian’s review from final NYC show
Here’s another show review submitted by our friend Cristian.
“I was one of the people lucky enough to win a pit pass for opening night in NYC. It was an incredible experience, but I had to see her at least one more time, so I went to the box office the final night of the show (last night) at about 9:15 am. I asked if they had any $150.00 tickets available, and they told me they had 4 left. I bought one, and before I knew it, I was inside Madision Square Garden to see her one last time.
This time around, I was able to see the show from a completely different perspective (since I was about halfway back at the arena), and the show truly is something to behold. The opening of the show is still my absolute favorite, but I think you really can’t completely appreciate the show unless you’ve seen it from a further-away aspect which I was able to do last night.
Madonna smiled a little more this time around, compared to her opening night. At one point she said something along the lines of: “This is my final night in New York (everyone cheers)…you don’t wanna see me leave do you? (everyone cheers again).” It was actually very touching and very warm on her part. I believe she’s definitely going to miss NYC. She also cussed before she introduced “Crazy For You“, she said something along the lines of: “I wanna dedicate this next song…to all my fans (everyone cheers incredibly loud)…who have stuck by me through thick and fucking thing!” Very cool, ha ha.
That’s about it. I am glad I was able to see the show from so close (being about one foot away from her was one of the most exhilirating things I have ever experienced), and from haflway back at the arena.
Love live Madonna. No one compares.
Cristian”
