Eighties pop legend Cyndi Lauper has attacked claims she is like Madonna – insisting the pair couldn’t be more different.
Both singers started out at the same time, before Madonna shot to international superstardom and Lauper failed to sustain her success.
But Lauper doesn’t agree the pair are alike.
She says, “We’re like apples and oranges.”
“I like to watch her. I think some of her songs are really interesting.”
