Doing It Better in Toronto
“Hello MadonnaTribe, my name is Chris and I’m from Mexico, I flew with my bf to Canada to see Madonna and
here’s my review of the RIT concert at the ACC in Toronto, Canada on July 18th.
I don’t know where to start, I’d an awesome time in Toronto. The whole city’s beautiful and interesting, the concert was AMAZING, had a blast and I loved the chance to celebrate my 2nd anniversary with my bf in Canada, here’s some tiny parts of our trip and a few pictures with the guys from the forum,
We stayed at the Days Inn Hotel in Carlton Street, it’s a nice hotel very well located (thanks to Torontophoenix for the recommendation) and a few blocks away from the Gay Village in Toronto. In our first night we took a walk to have dinner at the gay village in Toronto, after our dinner we got lost in the streets and ended up in a street full with prostitutes, I was so afraid to look at them and came across as a pervert!
Anyways, the following days we spent our time in the record stores, those were awesome! I felt in love with that “Sam The Record Man” music store, I’ve bought the Australian Edition of Music with Cyber-raga, the canadian edition of American Life and canadian edition of GHV2, the following DVDs: My Bloody Valentine, The Craft, Jawbreaker and
Leatherface: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre III.
So, the day of the concert come and we were over excited! For me it was 11 years ago since the last time I saw her with the Girlie Show and to have the opportunity to see her again was unbeliveable and exciting as hell. We came
early to the venue (ACC) around 6:30 pm and called Kat and the guys to ask were we should meet and stuff, suddenly I
saw Torontophoenix or he saw me I don’t know, but we said hello to each other and took some pics with the gang, so much fun!
My bf was seated in another section and I was some seat above him, there’s no words on how good the concert is, Madonna looked beautiful and the energy she puts on the show is beyond amazing! The july 18th concert was SOLD OUT
no empty seats and the audience was just down great! I was seated with some 30 year old women and they were so much fun, while “Nothing Fails” and “Mother & Father” some of them told me “I don’t know those songs!”.
I’d to say my fav. song from the RIT it’s “Deeper & Deeper“, that new version is lovely, loved the jazzy spin off of the song and I yelled soo hard when she said “I would like to dedicate this next song to all the people who came to the concert” or something like that.
Nuff about words, lets go to the pictures:
