Let’s face it, Madonna is a genius. And in a league of her own. Of course, I already know that. But her Drowned World Tour, broadcast live into millions of households from Detroit on August 26th, pleasantly reminded me of this proven fact.

From the moment the show started and I sat down in front of the TV, I was completely mesmerized. I couldn’t even begin to describe how I felt as she opened with a dramatic rendition of “Drowned World (Substitute For Love).” It felt like I was right there.
