En Vogue with Steven Klein
One of MadonnaTribe’s readers had the chance to attend the vernissage for the X-STaTiC PRO=CeSS exhibition at CameraWorks in Berlin and has just sent in his report.
“It was absolutely cool and Steven Klein himself attended the event. He was very nice and friendly with everybody. Top model Nadja Auermann was also among the guest.”
Our reader also reports that this version of the Madonna/Klein collaboration incorporates a lot of news stuff coming straight from their work done for the Re-Invention Tour – as revealed a while ago.
Together with the “Lament” rehearsal shots and the “Hallway” pictures used in “Vogue” and in the tourbook – also featured in the latest issue of German “Zoo” Magazine – the exhibition premieres two more artworks that can be considered a dream come true for die hard Madonna fans.
The CameraWork show presents indeed two of the videos used in the backgroung projection for “Vogue“. They are sort of an unedited footage of what was then assembled in the multi-screen layout, sometimes surrounded by the baroque frames, while here they are presented as impressive and stunning stand stand alone sequences.
