Evita Film portrait auctioned

For the film Evita, lots of high quality and detailed props were crafted and produced to make the world Madonna as Eva was moving in look real,
from receipts of the “Evita foundation” to the hand painted portraits of the main characters.
The main and famous “Madonna as Evita” portait, that mixes face characteristics of both Madonna and the real Eva Peron, was auctioned a few years after the movie by Christie’s Auction House in South Kensington, London, and raised £5,500 for the Foundation of the National Film and Television School, a foundation that has nurtured some of the most creative young people in the film and television world.
