Gamers Groove to Madonna and Elvis
Good news for gamers with an itch to dance, an eye for a camera and an appreciation for the music of Elvis, Madonna, Jessica Simpson and the Village People. Sony has released Groove, the second title for its EyeToy, a USB camera accessory for the PlayStation. The game, which has you dance in front of the camera, awards players points for technique, style and timing. There are also points for “just trying.” There is a tournament multiplayer mode or the battle sync mode, which allows players to dance together while being judged separately. You can even count calories by entering in your weight and then watch how many calories can be danced away. The game allows you to make your own video message, which can be transported via memory card.Sony says it has already sold 3.5 million EyeToys worldwide.Source: www.canada.com
