Here’s another story about Guy Ritchie‘s birthday bash from MegaStar.

When you’ve got as much gold as you can eat, the simple things in life are worth more.

Yeah, right. What a load of twaddle.

But it seems to work for zillionaire Madonna and her Brit hubby, Guy Ritchie.

Organising a surprise bash for his 36th birthday, the gap-toothed stadia pilates performer, allegedly hired an Irish-theme room in the Punch Bowl pub in Mayfair.

And gawd bless her, there was no Champagne, nor caviar. This was a real ale, Guinness and pork scratchings affair.

One of the people after all.

According to a newspaper, Guy was well made up and was, no doubt, surrounded by geezers, a few tasty sorts and a couple of “faces”.

In other words, a bunch of actors.

Apparently he stayed on until 3:30am, which seems awfully late if he’s got that Kabbalah class first thing in the morning.
