God Save The Queen!
Hello Tribers from all over the planet, I’m back from the second Madonna concert in Earls Court (the fourth concert in England) and tonight as well it was a wonderful experience and as usual I’m here to tell you everything about it.
The vip guests that attended tonight were Gwen Stefani and Westlife, while I’ve been told that Annie Lennox was also in the front stage block last night.
At the beginning of Material Girl Madonna told the audience: “I want to ask you a favour. I don’t remember the words to this f*cking song. I want you to help me with that”. And the audience started to sing along, while Madonna stopped to sing at some points of the song to hear if the crowd was singing.
At one point she asked the crowd if they they were having a good time. The whole arena shouted a big “Yeah!!!” and Madonna replied: “Me Too”

In Mother and Father we noticed that an image of Madonna’s mother appears on the side screens while just after the “Intervention” swell a picture of Mary is show on the right side of the stage while one of Jesus is on the right side, giving to the words of “Intervention” a whole new meaning as it was sing from Mary to her son Jesus
During Imagine she recalled that the song “was written some 35 years ago” but that unfortunately “history has a strange way of repeating itself”.
“God Save The Queen!!!” That’s what Madonna shouted at the end of Papa Don’t Preach, adding something like: “She might be here tonight. We sent her a letter but she didn’t come. She doesn’t know what she misses”. Madonna also remembered how she didn’t feel comfortable the first times the came to London.
“I didn’t understand the weather, I didn’t understand the food, I didn’t understand the humour. I didn’t like to come here. Now I live here and married a Brit. I’m even wearing a kilt! Now this is my home“.
Before and after the show I had the chance to meet some other Tribers and forum friends such as our correspondent from Greece Dimitris and Cosmic System and I also was happy to hear some positive comments while I was passing by a group of casual fans that were chatting about how great the performance tonight was and how the media is usually unfair with Madonna and her talent. After the show, outside the venue, our friend Sharon also showed her home made Madonna flag to some tv stations.
Ok, that’s all for tonight.
