Hello Boston! Ehm.. I mean Worcester!
“Hi, I wanted to drop you a line and give you a review about the “Worcester” show last night. I too thought it was strange that she had said Boston, but not 100% surprised. The tour book had Boston printed in there as well as the t-shirt we bought.
I think she was originally suppose to play in Boston, but it fell through because of the Democratic convention.
It was 8:25 and lots of seats were empty, I was a little concerned. They started to move people from the lower levels to very close floor seats, and people with higher seats were also moved down to the lower seats which was nice. At 1st we thought they were moving people to the pit, so we were going nuts trying to get the security guard’s attention, but he just ignored us. We had section 104, first row, so we were happy anyway.
The highlights were Burning Up, our section was great, everyone went wild! American Life, when she was lowered down on that walkway, she was literally half way through the floor seats and 40 feet from us.
Like most others, I think she looked at me, who knows. The crowd was screaming so loud during this, you couldn’t even hear a word she was saying. Other highpoints were Into The Groove, Crazy 4 U, and of course Like A Prayer. Nothing Fails wasn’t as huge as other shows, but the crowd still seemed to enjoy it. The only part where I thought of sitting down (but didn’t) was during Deeper & Deeper and Imagine.
All in all,,, It was the best concert I have ever seen, and probably ever will be.
Long live the Queen of Pop!!!”
