In Prison
In 1971, an experiment is conducted by Stanford professor Philip Zimbardo to explore the psychology of evil by recruiting twelve college students to role-play prison guards and inmates. The experiment is eventually discontinued when the participants begin taking on their roles with harrowing results.
This story inspired the german movie Das experiment last year.
Yesterday Madonna’s Maverick Films acquired the script by Tim Talbott for a new movie based on the same story.
The film will be called “Prison” and will be overseen by Maverick‘s Mark Morgan, Jon Schwartz, & Brent Emery along with producer Barron Kidd.
