It’s so new I don’t even know the words
Here’s the review of the secon L.A. show by MadonnaTribe reader Tim – thanks for sharing this with the Tribe!.
“The show was wonderful! She looks so happy to be there and to be performing.
The set was amazing. It was so colorful and bright. Her voice was stronger than I have ever heard it before.
The song “Imagine” had the whole audience crying.
She changed the opening line of “Express Yourself” from “Come on Girls” to “Come on Boys,” and the crowd went crazy.
I never thought I would ever get to see her sing “Burning Up” and “Material Girl” It was funny she forgot the words and was like “See it’s so new I don’t even know the words.”
The tour souvenirs this time are the best I have seen at any concert. Things from her whole career plus a bunch of odd things like a pill box with her picture on it and a candle.
When the catwalk comes from the ceiling during “American Life” was totally a surprise.
The message of peace ran throughout the show and ended when Madonna and her dancers lifted there kilts and underneath was letters that spelled: FREEDOM.
She is the greatest performer and can’t wait to see her again.”
