Jamie and the Queen
Our reader Jamie from Berlin writes:
“Hi there Tribe-Staff!
I just returned from my quest at the CAMERAWORK exhibition – truly a breathtaking one.
It was hard to take my eyes off the huge photographs which I had loved to take ALL with me.
Btw, I was really surprised that this exhibition was for free. We just walked in.
Anyway. There was this screening room behind a thick grey curtain. First I didn’t notice, just until I heard Madonna’s voice coming from behind it. So I stepped in. It was both amazing and scary. Especially the part that had Madonna lying on the bed with her head between the poles. The vocals of X-STATIC PROCESS (remixed with an echo and stuff) played to it. Suddenly the song got a whole new atmosphere and meaning, for I had the original version in mind as I saw the clip.
Eventually I had to leave the room since it was kinda scary.
Before leaving I got myself a poster (an unsigned one, since the signed one had cost me 40 Euros). I’d loved the X-STATIC PROCESS book so bad but it was 350 Euros which got me really choking. Instead I got myself ZOO Magazine, almost as great!
Last but not least I had my picture taken next to her majesty.”
Thanks to Jamie for sharing her experience with the Tribe
