Mr. Blackwell, chronicler of clothing catastrophes, poked fun at socialite-reality TV star Paris Hilton for committing the worst fashion follies of the past year.
Madonna and Britney Spears – “kissin’ cousins of couture crime” – were tied for second place in Blackwell’s list of worst dressed for 2003, followed by Shania Twain (country-fried kitsch), Diane Keaton, Jessica Simpson, Celine Dion (half-sequined scarecrow, half-gaudy acrobat), Missy Elliott, Melanie Griffith, Courtney Love (torrid temptress of fashion) and Lara Flynn Boyle.

Oh Lord, I really wanted to see them at #1!
