Last night in New York, before singing Imagine (“a song I decided to sing not because I can sing it better than the man who wrote it”), Madonna made a speech to the audience, praising director Michael Moore for his new controversial documentary film, Fahrenheit 9/11, and inviting everyone to see it.

“I would like to urge each and everyone of you, when the movie comes out to go and see it cause not only it is inspiring and educating but it’s the proof that people can make the difference, that we can make the difference”, said Madonna to the audience.
“Michael, I know you’re out there tonight and I just wanted to publically thank you for sticking your neck out” she said.
