Latest from Israeli Newspaper on Madonna’s tour

Madonna Tribe Forum member Tamir has translated an article published today on Israeli Newspaper Yedioth Ahronot“, which is not a tabloid.

“It is still unsure if singer Madonna will make it to Israel in September, but the preparations to the visit continue.
In the last few days people from the Kabalah Center in LA, an organization that is very close to Madonna, requested to the management of “Metzudat David Hotel in Jerusalem to rent a complete floor for the singer and her entourage. Price: 50,000$.

Sources from the Goverment’s Tourist’s Office confirmed that such a contact with the hotel was made. Meanwhile, the hotel staff refused to confirm nor deny if the rooms were booked, and only mentioned that “the hotel would be happy to have Madonna as a guest“.

Madonna is expected to visit Israel as part of her world tour, but lately rumours said that the visit could be cancelled due to security issues.
