Latest report from Sunday’s dress rehearsals
Here’s the latest reports from the re-Invention Tour rehearsals from Los Angeles by MadonnaTribe, live from our Team Member Runawayboy.
Monday, May 25.
“Yesterday the show has been rehearsed two times in a row as previously reported, a first one starting after noon and the second one at 05.30 PM.
The setlist hasn’t really changed, with Vogue played in a way similar to the Immaculate Collection version, and sung completely live, while Nobody Knows me appeared to be lip-synched. The live version of Frozen is indeed close to the album version, with some additional guitars and is really awesome.
The second part of the show begins with American Life that becomes very rocky style in its second half, Express Yourself recalls the Blond Ambition Tour version closely.
Mother and Father is incredibly beautiful, with a kick ass dance arrangement, and it is set to close the section.
Into The groove is being played in a “GAP” style with bagpipes, that are also playing Papa Don’t Preach.
Music is once again similar to the album version, with the “Hey Mr. Dee-jay” being moved from the beginning to the end of the song.
Holiday is indeed the grand final of the show as madonnatribe reported a while ago, starting with “Holiday, Celebrate” and reprising the instrumental intro lines for three times at the end of the song.
The tour schedule for the cast and crew has also been updated including The Netherlands and Portugal at the end of the European leg, with Lisbon confirmed as the Portuguese stop of the tour.
Check back soon for more updates!”
