Macha’s Goon
Charismatic Mem Ferda is one of the latest actors to join the cast of Guy Ritchie’s new movie Revolver.
The movie is currently being shot in London and the Internet Movie Database has updated its info including more acting credits to the production. Along with Mem, Togo Igawa as Fred, Sacha Bennett and Peter Rnicalso have joined Jason Statham (who plays Jake Green), Ray Liotta (Macha) and Vincent Pastore in the film’s cast.
London actor Mem Ferda is a force to be reckoned with. Having only just finished playing a very violent inmate in Chris Menaul’s “Planespotting” he now finds
himself on the set Revolver playing along side screen legend Ray Liotta (who acts as Macha) as his right-hand man, Macha’s Goon.
His powerful 6ft 2 frame and striking looks helped Mem land the role. He does a very convincing Eastern European accent – which is helping him land many other film roles playing – Russians (Experiment 2004) directed by Dan Turner, Kurdish roles (Elshera) winner of Palm Spring Film Festival 2004 directed by Damian Wood.
Mem is due to go to Budapest in January 2005 to star in the feature film by Joe Cardone, “The Velvet Side of Hell“. When asked about his future he modestly replied: “I am living the dream”
