Madonna is a ”housewife” because of that kiss

American Idol judge Simon Cowell chose to criticise pop icon Madonna‘s looks and age because of the infamous stage kiss she shared with Britney Spears.

Earlier this week, Music hitmaker Madonna fell victim to Cowell’s notorious sharp tongue, when he dubbed her a “housewife” and said she “used to be good-looking”.

And now Cowell says his comments were sparked by the much-hyped lip-lock between Madonna and Spears, explaining, “I was misquoted – I misquoted myself. The point I was trying to make was it was all to do with the kiss.

“I was making the point that when I used to like Madonna she was very cool because the thing she used to do to shock you was sort of good shock.

“(The kiss) was bad shock. In fact, it was pathetic because it was just so fake and premeditated. And it was rather like the equivalent of your mum dancing at a wedding.

“If it was done kinda naturally, that’s cool. But it was just so horribly premeditated and she’s cooler than that.”
