Madonna Sells Out

Madonna’s Reinvention Tour is shaping up to be the biggest tour of 2004.


Shows are selling out as soon as they go on sale.
Madonna will now perform six shows in New York at Madison Square Garden.


The Material Girl will also perform three shows in Toronto and three in Chicago. 58,000 tickets went to the Toronto gigs in just 80 minutes. Around 60,000 tickets sold for the Chicago gigs in two hours.


A second show has also been announced for Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Boston and Las Vegas.


Meanwhile in London, the first two shows at 18,500 capacity Earls Court sold out on the morning they went on sale.

Madonna has announced a third gig at the smaller Wembley Arena for August 22. Wembley holds 11,500. Ticket prices for the Wembley show are £150, £90 and £75. ($AUD365, $220, $182).
