Madonna stuns excited fans
The echoes of today’s memorable event at Selfridges start making their appearance on the media’s websites all over the world. This story comes from Yahoo! Entertainment.
Some of Madonna‘s biggest fans caused quite a scene in London this morning when meeting the pop idol at a promotional event for her newest children’s work, “The Adventures of Abdi“.
“The Insider”‘s Pat O’Brien was with the legendary singer as she greeted, and even stunned, some of the excited audience members at a public reading for pre-school children. But it wasn’t the little fans who made the biggest fuss … an overjoyed wheelchair bound woman was literally reduced to tears as she made the singer’s acquaintance and a full-grown man was so excited he could barely contain himself.
All the while, the flattered Madonna kept her composure and graciously accepted the attention. Her new book is the fourth in a series of children’s stories penned by the star. She is expected to release the fifth, Lotsa De Casha, next summer. The story will explore the theme that wealth is an overrated value.
