Madonna’s childhood home again on the market
Need more room for maids, kids, guests and boats?
A big place with a long, shady yard, pool, tennis courts, guest and caretaker’s houses plus a boat ramp and dock just came on the market.
It’s the estate of the late Heinz Prechter on Grosse Ile’s northeast shore.
If its $11,250,000 price tag seems a stretch, how about a fixer-upper with a bit of celebrity cachet that’s for sale in Rochester Hills? It’s Madonna’s childhood home, a 4-bedroom, 2,639-square-foot house on Oklahoma priced at $300,000.
The house, built in 1969, no longer is owned by Madonna’s family. Investors bought it, made some improvements and put it on the market July 12, Real Estate One agent Jane Evans said last week.
