More about filming the Documentary
Our forum member Loftylana reports what happend last night with the documentary crew last night in Chicago.
“The film crew do 4 solid hours last night of us at our little karaoke bar here in Chicago. These guys are on the road, 24/7, traveling from one city to the next. It appears the “researchers” are reading fan sites like THIS ONE and making contacts this way for designations. So, chances are good, if you’ve posted that you’re organizing a Madonna party, you may also be contacted, ya just never know!
Last night was a RIOT! Can’t wait until the film comes out to see if there’s even a 10 second snippet of any of our crowd. We all signed release waivers too, very official. Woo Hoo! The crew came to my loft first. They were pretty impressed with the place and there’s a tiny chance they could come back to catch our Pre-Party on July 11th.
They aren’t just filming the concert and Madonna and there’s more than one film crew! I kinda believe they are all over the country right now. Plus, this film is nothing at all like Truth or Dare. This one is about Madonna’s FANS and from my understanding (and based on the questions asked by the film crew), it’s about the span of her career overall. When we were interviewed, we were asked to talk about how Madonna has influenced our lives. The world already knows how we have influenced her life. It was kinda like Madonna saying, “enough about me; let’s talk about you; what do YOU think about ME?”
Perhaps the reason the film crew also took still photos (with a polaroid camera, writing our full names on the bottom of each one) is so that Madonna can review who she deems to be “interesting” enough to view the film footage of that group? This would save a lot of her time and makes sense. ”
