More about the Worcester’s Centrum Centre Madonna Display
Madonna Tribe member Gubinstein wrote us a nice e-mail regarding the fantastic Madonna display put up by the Worcester’s Centrum Centre. Here’s what he told us:
“I am writting this because I drove by Worcester’s Centrum Centre today and
the Madonna display is OUT OF THIS WORLD!!. Simply huge. STUNNING, if you
Love Madonna, you will not believe this. If you hate Madonna but love
Portraiture, you will not be able to look away. It takes up two whole
sections of an entire wall. I’d say the larger section is maybe at least 40
feet long. The colors are amazing. There are also lage scale copies of the
single cover to “Deeper and Deeper” as well as the Erotica album. Many,
Many photos were used.
Very similar to the look of ghv2 but with the 2004
re-invention tour lettering at the top. It looked as though they were still
installing it even today. People were staring at it and what looked like
random conversation with strangers. To see all of Madonna’s different looks
up there THAT big its hard not to look. I almost lost control of my car.
I will be attending the 6/27 show. I have cheap seats, but i’m preying that
I can score pit tickets or whatever.
It’s an emotional thing for us here in Worcester. The last time she came was
1990 for two shows but canceled one. I never got to see that show. I was a
very distressed seventh – grader then.
