Madonna has shocked fans by announcing another world tour, including a show in the UK.

The iconic popstar will begin her re-Invention tour in the US this May, and will reach London’s Earl’s Court on the 18th August.

The show will be her first since her intimate appearance at the HMV store on Oxford Street last year. She last went out on a world tour in 2001, following the success of her Ray of Light and Music albums.

It is thought the new show will feature music from across her career, including early hits. It will also be used to promote her last album, American Life.

The US branch of the tour will take more than 2 months, after which she will also appear in Paris. No further shows outside the USA have been confirmed.

However, the Madonna live experience doesn’t come cheap. Tickets for the show will cost up to £150 per person.
