More on Portuguese Mystery

Madonna‘s Portuguese date of the re-INVENTION tour is now surrounded by even more mystery.

Tournée, the Portuguese promoters, says that they have no news about a cancellation of Madonna‘s show, that is scheduled for September 12 2004 at Lisbon’s Pavilhão Atlântico.

Members of the Mana Church claim they have been personally contacted by Madonna’s European legal representative John Giddings who supposedly told the Church the concert was cancelled.

Although it seems very strange that Madonna’s representative would contact Mana Church instead of the Portuguese tour promoter, we’ve reported the news as a press statement has been released earlier today by Lusa, the Portuguese version of Associated Press.

A spokeperson of Tournee, has now declared to the Diário Digital, that they have no news about a supposed cancellation of the show, adding that the situation is still at the same point as a month ago.
