More on the tour concept
According to Stereomover, a member of the Peter Rauhofer Board, Madonna is considering to sing some of her old songs in her new world tour. Apparently Madonna classics such as Lucky Star, Live to tell, Like a Prayer, and Into the Groove are being tested for the show, which is a trip through time.
Different eras will be visited from the early 20’s jazz clubs to the trashed out clubs of the 80’s.
Patrick Leonard who co-wrote with Madonna some of her most memorable songs and Joe Henry, her brother in law with whom she collaborated for the song Don’t tell me are involved musically in the show.
As we know, Jamie King, the man behind her last tour’s choreagraphy, is back with Madonna on this project.
On the record releases front a collection of dance mixes from most of the songs of the album American Life will be probably ready to coincide with the world tour.
